Bushbox Ultralight – Your Featherlight Companion

When every gram counts on your tours, our Bushbox Ultralight is exactly the right choice! In its lightest configuration, it weighs just 60 grams, making it an exceptionally lightweight option among outdoor stoves. Despite weighing next to nothing, the Bushbox Ultralight is a fully functional stove that offers maximum freedom and versatility on the trail without weighing down your pack.

Made from highly stable, 0.3 mm spring steel, this stove can be flexibly assembled in just a few steps. A well-thought-out locking mechanism holds the side parts firmly together and ensures the necessary stability for cooking. Disassembly takes seconds: as soon as you release the lock on one side, all parts can be folded flat. With a packed size of only approx. 1.5 mm when disassembled, the Bushbox Ultralight fits into any pocket or even the lid compartment of your backpack.

This stove operates completely in line with the "Leave No Trace" philosophy: controlled combustion within the stove leaves no traces in nature. Furthermore, you are completely independent, as you can easily fuel the Bushbox Ultralight with whatever you find on site – from small twigs to dry leaves. It is the perfect solution for minimalists who value "Made in Germany" quality and maximum efficiency at the lowest weight.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Who is the Bushbox Ultralight best suited for?

The Bushbox Ultralight is specially designed for hikers, trail runners, and ultralight enthusiasts who count every gram. It is excellent for cooking for 1-2 people on day trips or long-distance hikes. It also serves as an excellent, featherlight windshield for existing gas or spirit stove systems.

2. Which fuels can be used and what should be considered regarding ground protection?

You can operate the Bushbox Ultralight with wood (twigs, branches) as well as with spirit burners, Esbit, or fuel paste. For firing with wood, we recommend the optional Ash Plate. It serves as ground protection and catches falling embers to protect the environment.

3. How stable is the thin spring steel when heated?

The 0.3 mm spring steel used is extremely durable. The well-thought-out locking mechanism ensures that the construction remains stable under load. After use, the material cools down very quickly. Due to the flexibility of the spring steel, the stove can be precisely and easily assembled again even after many uses.
