Tie down sling hook, make two opposing grooves for the spear rest, insert spear rest and press tight, insert spear rest support into opening in the spear rest, tie down spear rest and support, use blade to cut a notch into the small end of the spear (for the hook), put spear onto spear rest with hook in the notch at the small end of the spear, fix the spear with your hand.
